NEWTON AND FIG
Congo African Grey Parrots
Newton came to our aviary from a local breeder in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
He is a large, dark Congo African Grey parrot. His mate, Fig, is a lighter shade of
grey and is from Connecticut. Individually, both parrots are proven breeders, but
together they have not laid any eggs. They do however show signs of bonding and nesting.
Most of the time, Fig does not eat from the food bowls. She only eats what Newton feeds her.
And lately, Newton has been spending alot of time chewing on their nestbox....
